NEOM is the giga-project on the Red Sea coast in Tabuk province, covering roughly 26,500 square kilometres. It is the single largest employer of international specialists in the Kingdom outside the energy sector.

What candidates should know

• Scope has changed. Parts of the original masterplan have been restructured or rephased since 2024. Roles tied to specific sub-projects can be reorganised; ask in interview which entity you are contracted to and what happens if that scope shifts.
• Location is remote in the literal sense. Most roles are based on site in Tabuk province, not in a major city. Accommodation is usually provided in purpose-built communities. This is a material lifestyle decision, not a detail.
• Packages are typically structured as base plus housing, transport, annual flights, and schooling support for dependants. Base alone understates total compensation considerably.
